When you are planning your activities for your holidays Orlando, go beyond the thrill rides of the major theme parks and look at the other great places where you can enjoy varied experiences. There are a lot of reasons why millions are drawn to this tourist hotspot all year round.
Ask around and find out what makes Orlando tick for many people and you will be surprised at how varied the responses that you will get. People who love and have close affinity with nature, culture and the arts, fine cuisine, science and the movies share a common interest of going to Orlando to experience their brand of rest and recreation.
For those individuals and traveling groups who want to look beyond the popular norm of going to theme parks while in Orlando can consider the other attractions that abound its rich landscape. Consider this wide array of choices – 168 world class golf courses, renowned Orlando beaches, hot air balloon rides, and horseback riding, to name a few. My favourite Orlando experience is living out my fantasy of being a Harley Davidson rider. I normally start my holidays Orlando by riding a rented bike and heading off to all directions and destinations not frequented by the crowd.
My wife and I were able to find the middle ground in as far as our holiday option is concerned. We both love holidays Orlando albeit for different reasons. While I am at my own version of Orlando discovery expedition, my wife usually goes on her personal commune with the finer things in life. Her favourite destinations in Orlando include Millenia Fine Art, Orlando Opera, the Shakespeare Festival and the Cornell Fine Arts Museum.
Our friends are quite amused and surprised at how we spend our holidays Orlando. Believe it or not, we find ourselves being drawn closer to each other every time we travel to Orlando. Indeed, Orlando is a place where everything is possible.
