Where to Buy Groceries while In Orlando Florida

A greater portion of your expenses while on a holiday is accounted for by your visits to attractions, accommodations and airfare. Dining in selected restaurants shall generally be added on the list of your major expense items. This is especially so if you are going to stay along the International Drive. There are ways that you can do so that you don’t unnecessarily rack up your food expenses while you are in Orlando Florida.

If you are spending your holiday in Orlando with your family or a group, I strongly suggest that you consider buying ingredients that you will need for home-cooked meals or even a meal that can be heated at the hotel. There are numerous shopping centers that have grocery stores within the tourist corridor of International Drive and at Walt Disney World where you can purchase these budget saving meal options.

You can go to John Young Parkway which is located just east of the I-Drive or the Walmart Supercenter along Sand Lake Road. Along the west side of I-Drive along the Sand Lake Road, you can check out the sprawling Publix supermarket which is just about a mile from the I-4 exit.

If your group is staying at a resort in Walt Disney World, you can go to the renowned Crossroads Shopping Center which is located along Hotel Plaza Boulevard and State Road 535. Look for Goodings store which is found along the array of popular restaurants inside the commercial complex. You can also try going to Winn Dixie store which is just about a half a mile north of the Shopping Center. The grocery store specifically caters to the needs of tourist and is strategically located within a half mile radius of the nearest Publix.

Majority of the grocery stores in Orlando, Florida that cater to tourists are generally more crowded and offer an assortment of items including Disney souvenirs, beach towels, sunscreens. It is a better alternative to the convenience shops located within the resort or along the International Drive as the prices are a bit lower.
