SeaWorld’s new attraction Manta, will be different from the existing roller coaster rides. This flying roller coaster will have ray shaped trains and will give the riders a face down flying position over 1,024 m of track with speed of about 56 mile per hour. The ride will see its first drop at 113 feet and then reach to the top (height about 43m), following which, it will have four inversions including a pretzel loop, in-line twist and two corkscrews, to add to the adventure part. The 2 minutes 35 seconds ride will offer underwater glimpses of a variety of rays as well as sea dragons, sea horses and many other species of fish.
By introducing visitors to SeaWorld’s marine life theme, this steel flying coaster will let the passengers explore the marine animals in a never before experienced way. Besides giving the sensation of flight the roller coaster’s wings will skim through the water surface creating a refreshing splash for the passengers.
With all these interesting features, Manta at SeaWorld Orlando, FL would be the second longest, tallest and fastest flying roller coaster in the world, after Tatsu at Six Flags Magic Mountain, California. Now that the reverse counting for Manta has started, SeaWorld theme park, FL is all set to attract many more tourists in the coming months.
