Besides the power packed jazz performances, some of the highlights of Jacksonville Jazz Festival, FL are Jazz parade, Jazz Dinner Cruise on St Johns river, exhibition of award winning jazz photographer Herman Leonard, a commemorative poster display in the main library area and showcase of award wining documentary film CHOPS, which is about a group of young, talented musicians who learn to make the most of their gifts in an acclaimed jazz program at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, in Jacksonville, Florida. Besides these, you can participate at the youth talent competitions and attend seminars. This year it is going to be a street festival, which will feature a jazz club atmosphere with multiple stages of entertainment, Art in the Heart Art Show and Sale, Wine Down Tasting Experience, jazz exhibits, children’s educational activities, and much more! Most of the events have free admission, there are some where you’ll be charged a nominal fees.
