I still vividly recall those days past when I was always on the fast lane as a frequent flyer. My normal routine then was hopping to distant places every other week, shuttling to Palm Springs, Chicago, Washington, Vancouver and Orlando. It was always a series of business meetings and conventions, and every event seemed to require my presence and active participation.
After going through the same set of business functions and activities for sometime, every place I visited slowly began to look the same. The airport hotels inexorably turned to be unexciting and at times I was tempted to look for a more comfortable place where I can stay while in town. I guess I was having my own version of hotel and restaurant “fatigue.”
Traveling may sound glamorous and exciting for others but when it becomes a routine, it turns to be a complete drudgery. This is when you will yearn for the comforts of your home.
While in Orlando, private vacation homes are my first option. These are the Florida villas that I usually rent when I am on a week-long stay in Orlando. This is where I find the comforts of home which I can not find in a Marriot, Hilton or a Sheraton.

My top favourites whenever I go to Florida are Terrace Ridge in Orlando and Club Cortille in Kissimmee. I usually use one room as my office where I can do all my work and meet with business associates.
